PHNOM PENH, Cambodia — September 27, 2026 — A capacity crowd filled the 2,000-seat RCAF Stadium on September 26 as KOMBAT 24 brought eight Kombat Kun Khmer bouts featuring fighters from seven countries to Phnom Penh. The event began at 8:00 p.m., was televised nationally in Cambodia by Bayon TV, and was livestreamed globally. It reached millions of viewers across television and social media.
KOMBAT 24 was Kombat Global Corporation’s second event in Cambodia, following its first Kombat Championships in June 2026. The packed stadium and strong response from viewers showed growing interest in Kombat Kun Khmer in Cambodia and internationally.
“The stadium was full, and people around the world were watching. That means a great deal to our fighters and to everyone who worked to make this event happen,” said Rick W. Shin, President of Kombat Global Corporation. “The Kun Khmer Federation and General Khov Chhay have been very welcoming and supportive of international promoters. Their support is a major reason we have decided to continue bringing Kombat events to Cambodia.”
The event was sponsored by Ganzberg Beer, Cambodia’s premium beer brand, and Bayon TV, Cambodia’s largest television network. It was supported by the Kun Khmer Federation and its president, General Khov Chhay.
Kombat will return to RCAF Stadium on November 27, 2026, for the Kombat World Grand Prix. The planned 18-bout card will feature 12 international fighters and three world title belt bouts. It will bring together Kombat Taekwondo, Kombat Kun Khmer, Kombat Jiu-Jitsu, and Kombat MMA.
Kombat Global Corporation thanks the fighters, officials, sponsors, production team, and fans who made KOMBAT 24 a success.
